Leadership in international health management

Leadership is crucial for achieving global health goals, reducing inequality, and improving health outcomes. However, the ever-changing environment and varying health resources make leadership in health both complex and dynamic. This course will help you develop key leadership skills for public and international health roles. You’ll explore leadership theories, engage in reflective practice to build self-awareness, and learn to manage power dynamics, resolve conflicts, and collaborate across sectors—all aimed at improving population health.

The short course consists of 10 weeks of self-paced learning and one face-to-face week (at Swiss TPH, Kreuzstrasse 2, Allschwil).

The Leadership course is one of Swiss TPH's Management Courses that can be combined to the MBA International Health Management. Members of the Swiss Biotech Association benefit from reduced course fees, the same fees as for MBA International Health Management students.
