Individual courses & workshops
Given the constant need to be up-to-date with current developments in drug discovery and development, clinical research, legislation and other areas of drug development, we are happy to offer a selection of courses and workshops to our members. Aimed at all professionals who have a strong interest in biotechnology and life sciences, the Swiss Biotech Association Academy presents a selected mix of education on a professional level, where you can exchange your thoughts with other experts in your field and expand your network. The courses are organized throughout the year by the Swiss Biotech Association and our Academy partners.
Long-term professional development
In the age of digitalization, the importance of technically and scientifically well-educated people is greater than ever. In Switzerland, there is a shortage of skilled workers at all levels in the mathematics, computer science, natural science and technology (STEM) professions. The Swiss Biotech Association Academy program also presents various advanced training opportunities offered by academic institutions in Switzerland for the management and young professionals – national and international. These education programs are offered in cooperation with partners, and are ideal for a targeted professional development, but also for retraining or re-entry.
