Is “aging” a disease? The question has various ethical and philosophical components. From a scientific point of view, medicine can help enable healthy aging and possibly, a longer life.
Biotechnet Switzerland’s Meet-Up 2025 will shed light on the different aspects in which biotechnology is or should be active in the realm of aging.
Keynote speakers from industry and academia will share how they are approaching aging research. Extended networking will allow participants to discover each others' expertise and share knowledge. Biotechnet members will incorporate findings from the Meet-Up into our teaching and research activities, and the event may stimulate new collaborative projects.
Researchers working in universities, industry, and the clinic are welcome to join. The event will be hosted by Google at its exceptional site right next to the Zürich train station.
