Scientific business analyst. Biomedical Research

We are looking for three experienced Business Analysts to join the Biomedical Research Informatics team of a Strategic, Global Pharmaceutical Wipro client. This role involves collaborating with scientific and cross-functional teams to shape and implement informatics systems that drive innovation in biomedical research. The successful candidate will be adept at gathering and analyzing requirements, producing comprehensive documentation, and facilitating effective communication across teams to deliver valuable technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities
•Requirement Gathering & Analysis: Engage with stakeholders at all levels to collect and analyze requirements, leveraging an integrated approach for functional, non-functional, and business needs.
•Project Coordination & Collaboration: Partner with scientists, product teams, and other stakeholders to outline objectives, develop workflows, and refine deliverables that align with business goals.
•Documentation & Design Support: Create detailed process flows, use cases, and other documentation to inform design and development efforts. Assist with system reviews, feedback collection, and iterations.
•Software Development Lifecycle Support: Participate in project planning, daily meetings, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. Define key project milestones and success metrics.
•Testing & Validation: Develop test scripts for user acceptance testing (UAT) and collaborate with teams to validate that the solutions meet business needs.
•Compliance & Standards: Ensure all solutions adhere to the Industry and Client standards and regulatory requirements (e.g. GLP and GCP)
•Tools: Solid experience with tools like Jira and Confluence for task tracking, documentation management, Microsoft Teams and Miro for team collaboration.

Essential Qualifications
•Educational Background: Bachelor’s or advanced degree in a relevant field such as Life Sciences, Computer Science, or related domains.
•Professional certification in Business analysis (IIBA).
•Experience: 3-5 years of experience in a business analysis role in the life sciences or biomedical industry, with a focus on developing solutions in an Agile environment.
•Methodologies: Solid understanding and experience with Agile (Scrum/Kanban) and Product oriented operations / Product teams

Must Have Experience:
Hands-on experience in one or more of the following business domains and associated technology solutions:
A.Sample Management (Sample Ordering, Production, Shipping)
B.Research (Biologics and Small Molecules production and charaterization, new modalities (e.g. xRNA and screening technologies (e.g. DEL and HCS, Lab Information Management (LIMS))
C.Early Development (Study Management and Logistics, Histopathology & Imaging, Clinical Trials, Clinical Sample and Results management)
D.Results and Documentation (ELN and Scientific documentatation mgmt, partners mgmt (e.g. CRO), In Vitro and In Vivo studies mgmt)
E.Scientific Data and Analytics operations (Data ingestion, integration, modeling, data science (HPC) and complex data processing pipelines)

Technical Skills:
•Jira: Skilled in task management, backlog prioritization, and workflow creation.
•Confluence: Proficient in structuring documentation, organizing collaboration spaces, and facilitating knowledge sharing.
•Communication & Analytical Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
•Domain Knowledge: Familiarity with biomedical research processes and the ability to translate scientific workflows into system requirements.
