At our headquarters in Urdorf (Zurich), Switzerland, our engineers innovate next-generation technologies that change how biopharma digitizes and automates bioprocess development. Our vision is to maintain this leading position and stand out significantly from all other bioprocess software applications and automated sampling systems.

Continuing steadily on our sustainable innovation path and growth journey, we are looking for a Software Engineer for our Strategic IT Development department.

You will support us in creating and broadening our product platforms for Biotechnology process automation, being in charge to develop software applications and device functionalities. You are experienced with the development of business logic, user, and device interfaces, reporting and evaluation functionalities, databases, as well as embedded applications as integral part of our devices. Furthermore, you are working on specification documentation.

You have a degree in computer science, or a successfully completed apprenticeship as a computer scientist or an equivalent IT education and several years of working experience.
Programming in C, C++, and Python, several years of professional experience.
Preferably you have experience with Qt, ML and SQL.
Experience with (bio-)process engineering is an advantage, but not a prerequisite.
Operating system knowledge of Windows and Linux.
You are open-minded and eager to gain a broad knowledge of our business helping to shape the right solutions.
You like to work independently, and you use your strong problem-solving abilities in a goal-oriented way while collaborating and communicating well in international and intercultural settings.
